Open House for 2008/2009 School Year

 

Sat. Feb. 9, 2008 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

 

 

All prospective children and their parents are invited to come meet the teachers in the classroom.

·         Children registered in the 3 year-old program MUST be 3 by Dec. 31, 2008.

·         Children registered in the 4 year-old program MUST be 4 by Feb. 28, 2009.

 

Registration

For the 2007/2008 school year, please contact the school for information about available space and/or waitlists.

For the 2008/2009 school year, Registration Form and a non-refundable deposit will be due by Mar. 7, 2008.

A special board meeting will be held on March 12, 2008 to confirm the applications. In accordance with our school's bylaws, spots will be filled in the following priority order: current members, previous members, Edgemont residents, and then out of community applications. Should there be more applications than spots, a lottery will be held to fill the available spaces and the remaining names will be put on a waitlist. All applicants, including those that are waitlisted, will be contacted by March 21th, 2008 to confirm their status.

 

AGM and Volunteer Position Selection Night for the 2008/2009 School Year

Wednesday April 2, 2008; 7:00pm at the Edgemont Community Centre.

* All successful registrants must attend (without children as this is our annual meeting)

Please bring:     

·         Copies of your child’s immunization records and Alberta Health Care number

·         A cheque for June 2009 fees - dated April 2, 2008

·         9 post-dated cheques for Sept. 2008 – May 2009 fees

Withdrawals and Refunds

Registration fee is non-refundable.

Monthly fee charge will continue until the member gives one calendar month's written notice to the Registrar. A calendar month is that period of time from the first day of the month to the last day of the month and not just any 30 day period. e.g. if a member gives notice of a March withdrawal any time in February, then fees are due for February and March. For withdrawal in March, and refund of March fees, notice should be submitted in January.

                              There will be no refund of June's dues when a child is withdrawn for only that month, or portion thereof.

                                   There is no reduction, or cancellation of fees for holidays, sickness, or any other absences including school closures for emergencies at the discretion of the Board of Directors.
